As the foundation of our equipment, sturdy mounts are required for any installation. As requested by most Property Managers, Freewire prefers to use non-penetrating mounts. A diagram, includes dimensions, of the most common non-penetrating mounts are provided below. These mounts are secured to the roof using a set number of standard cinder blocks to provide additional weight. The number of cinder blocks will vary due to both the size of the mount and expected wind load of the antenna. Most installation average 200 lbs. or less and do not exceed 400 lbs. Freewire will determine the appropriate mount for each of properties. Protecting ¾” rubber mats can be placed below the mount, upon request.
